Lovely blend of 5 red grapes including the delicious Nebbiolo. Gary Gosatti back to his Italian roots with some clever European styles and deservedly dark horse winery of the year. Arlewood Wines. — 9 years ago
Incredibly smooth European style Syrah — 10 years ago
NV offering from Chateau Palmer - very acceptable with European oyster selection for lunch. — 10 years ago
2012,a rich soft but characteristic Pinot noir. Lots of good fruit without being too ripe, still some earthiness as expected from a European wine. True, not French, but darn good. — 10 years ago
Very brave and successful effort to make an european style wine. Elegant, balanced, this wine is developing in glass in a wonderful way. — 11 years ago
Showing very nicely. A bouquet of dying violets for sure. The tannins are more present on the front to mid-palate but a very seamless and smooth finish. Acid driven just like all the great European wine should be! — 11 years ago
A nice, if somewhat basic, bracing European white — 8 years ago
Good typicity. Dried cranberry, red currant, red plum, dried rose, violets, organic and inorganic earth, moderate level of VA, normal for the style. Bridge between modern and old style. Paired well with a debate concerning the carrying capacity of European vs African swallows, ascertaining the guilt of a witch, and a near-fatal battle with a bloodthirsty rabbit :) — 10 years ago
Finally a Chardonnay I love to drink. Neyers is California based but they make their Chardonnay in a style more reminiscent of European wines. The 2012 vintage was smooth, buttery and easy to drink. Great wine to share during dinner. — 10 years ago
Hoppy, super drinkable red ale. Excellent.

Dose it work on European beers? — 12 years ago
Fantastic Italian red. Bolder than most Italian reds. European earthy but rich flavors. Awesome nose. Unique. — 10 years ago
The wine continued to get better over the course of dinner. It had a lot more fruit than I would have expected for a European wine even though it was a Syrah. — 10 years ago
No surprise that this semi-dry riesling from the Finger Lakes by @drfrankwine is one of the leading whites from New York. Well-balanced, very European in style. Great value for $15. @thedailysip — 10 years ago
Me and Lorie enjoyed this with our European style dinner. Very nice. — 11 years ago
Great #Malbec from #Patagonia, high altitude and thus a cooler climate makes this more European in style. Vibrant purple-red, sappy, red fruit like raspberry, cassis, floral violets, some subtle pepper spice and licorice. Medium to full bodied, medium+ tannin, fresh acidity and an elegant but long, fresh and persistent finish. #gobuythiswine — 11 years ago
