90/100

Powerful, deep, dark, brooding. Roasted plums; sweet at its core. Plush, in an old vines way. — 10 years ago

Bigger bodied than Germano, but no Voerzio monster. Sweet cherry Barolo. #winegeek2q2014 #ifyoucantwinwithonebringtwo — 12 years ago

Fabulous light berry and a little licorice - love it! 2005❤️ — 10 years ago
Nice, medium body wine. Soft tannins & fruit forwards. Paired very well with mushroom risotto. — 10 years ago
Chardonnay from Barolo? Yup! Rating may be slightly skewed by nostalgia from having drank it in the vineyard. — 11 years ago
Powerful wine here. Love it. Gentle on the nose. The real hit here is the palate. You start with black cherries and then comes the tobacco, vanilla and leather. Firm tannins are present but it is well balanced and very enjoyable. — 12 years ago
Youngish but get after it!
Drink all of this now or I will. — 9 years ago
Rather one-note on the nose but lovely balsamic complexity on the palate. Young but ready to drink — 10 years ago
We got fooled on this one. So musty-dusty smelling that we thought it was corked or bad, so we just set it on the counter. The next night we tried it again for kicks and decided we should decant and see what we have. Good decision! Triple decanted and let it sit for awhile. We would have waited another day if we could, but had other plans so went ahead and drank it. Five hours later it was still opening. Next time we'll probably open it the night before and double decant and let it sit all day. We didn't get the raisin flavor this time. Dry and lots of leather. Delish!! — 10 years ago

Un bel blend di una bella annata — 10 years ago
Ettote Germano Rossana - just another reason why Nebbiolo is the greatest wine grape of all time. Classic Method Sparkling Rose. Ripping acid. Beautiful fruit. — 12 years ago
Chip Hughes
So underrated. Dark, brooding, intense. Roasted plums, grated spices. Still, it’s fleshy, corpulent and packed after a day or two of aeration. #dolcetto #alba #piemonte — 8 years ago
