Super easy to drink, with a refreshing acidity and hint of minerality. Nice bouquet. As someone else wrote - a great little white! — 4 years ago
This quite remarkable. Erbaluce is not a very noble variety, but this wine might have you think otherwise. Perfumed lemon oil, mint with a waxy or oily texture. Med to light bodied with a surprising persistence. This is like sunlight in the glass. — 5 years ago
First time trying Le Piane.. well not strictly true, we had a glass of their Erbaluce at the beginning of the evening. Both wines were fantastic. Was introduced by a beautiful restaurant in the mountains (Villa Pizzini). Delicious. Shall be sourcing once back in the UK. — 5 years ago

Ottimo passito piemontese, colore molto carico e bouquet pieno di frutti — 9 years ago
So. Damn. (Elegantly). Crushable. Rangpur lime, a petrol-y olive oil, memories of a summer fruit pie, a sprinkle of tarragon, crisp mineral-y tang that fades into a beautiful calcium carbonate lime zest finish and a hit of aromatic joint…oh, wait… — 3 years ago

Pop and pour, and this was excellent; wish I had bought a lot more. On the nose: soft honey, lemon lime, soft vanilla: transparent oak influence?, but nevertheless charming. On the palate: good acidity, wet stone, oily lime, nice finish. Disappearing quickly. — 5 years ago
Uniquely mineral. — 6 years ago
Sparkling erbaluce from alto Piemonte. Lovely citrus nose. Tremendous right fruit - such great fruit you’d think it has dosage even thought It doesn’t. Springy minerality. Alive on the palate. Great juiciness. Some nice richness. Wow. Great wine. Bought from fass selections. — 7 years ago
The perfect wine for celebrating after we married. — 8 years ago
Crisp and pretty dry, kind of funky but doesn't linger. "Clean crisp finish, mineralogy on the nose"- Charles. Had at erbaluce with sauteed wild lake trout, kind of overpowers the trout, which is very delicately fishy, not much other flavor discernable to me — 9 years ago
Wow. What a great wine.
Nose is gorgeous white flowers.
Palate is so clean and mineral. Great thrust. Some linear richness. Great density.
Very good. — 3 years ago
Terroir forward peppery and punchy reminds of timorasso less rich more acid — 5 years ago
A bit of mineralality and salinity, complex but not overly barnyard. A true delight. — 6 years ago
