This is a dark and extracted wine smelling of black currants, pencil lead, and floral notes such as violets. Very young, moderate grip, dark cassis berry with black cherry overtones. To me, this is prototypical mountainside Cabernet Sauvignon from Northern California. I would love to taste this in another 10 years when it settles down. — 10 years ago

Tastes of warm mountainside, conifers dusted with cinnamon and brown sugar, mtn 'shroom tapenade spread on boysenberry pie. Not for the feint of heart or weak of drinking constitution at 17+%.
