Had the Revana cab, figured I should try the Alexana Pinot. This Pinot was perfect on this Texas patio evening. Very refreshing. Without a doubt, this needs to be served slightly more chilled than others. Gorgeous red fruits splash the tongue...strawberry, cloudberries, lingonberries (all those cold weather fruits). Great integration of funky earthiness and herbs. Very small Spice on the backend, but not peppery. Overshadowed by the EnRoute, but a wine I'd absolutely buy again. Sweet Far Niente tasting at Golden Gate wines in HK. Loved it all. The Enroute Pinot had the classic RRV cola notes... great nose. The N&N Cab was surprisingly open and ready to go now. The FN; serious, deep, long, and made for cellar time. — 9 years ago
