Fantastic Bottle. Notes of Black Cherry with a Vanilla Oak Finish. Soft tannins gives a nice, but not overbearing, leathery mouthfeel.

Deep ruby red. Interesting nose to begin with some forest floor, a touch burnt, sweet spices and black fruits. A touch dusty on the palate, with lots of red cherries, spices and a touch dark too. Heavy tannins (7.5/10), and full bodied with a long finish. Drink from 2019 till 2031.

Beautiful nose of; ripe blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, black cherry cola/licorice, vanilla, dark moist soil with fresh violets and red florals. Nice round, lush mouthfeel. Powdery, soft, dry tannins. Fruits of; ripe blackberries, dark cherries, plum & blue fruits. Moist dark soil, dry crush rocks, new leather, bramble, vanilla, wood shavings, good acidity and a good round finish in progress. This wine shows better young than many of the others I posted tonight. Try it again in 8 years for more complexity. Enjoyable tasting event with Far Niente wines tonight. I've had a few Nickel & Nickel, but never any of Far Niente's own wines.
Too young! But what a treat. I can see this going up a few points once its had time to develop. Aromatic in a big way...blackberries, blueberries and spice on the nose. Cedar, smoked meat, toasted oak, blueberries on the palate and a nice lingering finish.

This was a gorgeous bottle that exuded notes of ripe blueberries and plums, sachets of dried spices such as clove and star anise, all intermingled with cooling menthol and fresh mocha froth.
