Very complex, mineral notes on the end made for a great pairing with fish — 11 years ago
Amazing encruzado blend from the 60s. Still great freshness and acidity — 11 years ago
Crisp summer wine. Not too complex. Almond, citrus. — 12 years ago
That's a big wine! Lovely. A lot of body, strong structure, well balanced vanilla flavors with fruitness. Long like a Tour de France ;) — 12 years ago
Truly compelling. Layers of toast and mineral and so youthful still. Encruzado and Maria Gomes from Dâo and Bairrada. Living vibrantly in the glass. Finishes long. Complex. Has lots of life yet ahead. — 9 years ago

Sophisticated white. I had no idea that white Dao was even a thing. 2007 vintage. — 10 years ago

A classy Encruzado by Alvaro Castro - nice and soft texture, freshness and focused, a nice wine with great length - a good value — 11 years ago
The 2011 is ok. This is a light wine with a little bite. A wine that would go fine with fried chicken. — 9 years ago

Crisp, lively & entertaining. Long too, — 11 years ago
Hazy yellow tinged gold color with aromatic, appealing quince, pear, orange marmalade, and wet stone aromas with a appealing oxidized note. On the palate it's well structured, full-bodied, and very fresh, yet lushly textured with fine grained well integrated tannins like an orange wine with tart quince, pear, orange and vanilla flavors, with a hint of baked nectarine and a long mineral driven finish. 12.5% alcohol — 11 years ago
Produzidas 10.000 garrafas — 12 years ago
Fresh, crispy, with great aciddity bubbles! White fruit with a little bakery on it. Great floral going on also. — 13 years ago
