Loved this blend. Like an elixir for me. Bought it at Costco for around 40.00 — 9 years ago
If you could turn a red hot candy into a voluptuous cinnamon & bitter elixir, you'd have this! — 10 years ago
There is champagne and their is Champagne. This all chard beauty is redolent of lemons, celery, pear and brioche all in a shimmering shist oceanic pale golden Elixir. You can't drink this and chatter away. It stops you in your tracks and says pay attention. — 10 years ago
Toffee, fruit cake, butterscotch and a flicker of vanilla Yankee candle on the nose; quiet notes of roasted pear and petals of lemon rind picked off the grill in a rich bodied elixir that persists 20+ seconds. — 10 years ago
Rich and amber-hued, this dessert wine offering from cult winery, Sine Qua Non is crafted from 100% botrytized Viognier. Harvested at 42 brix, it's a remarkable elixir that offers up notes of ripe apricot, orange marmalade, mace and vanilla. Concentrated, waxy and viscous. There is enough acidity to bolster hedonistic flavors of bruised pear, golden raisin, clover honey and whole cloves on the finish. Ample spice notes gather like an impending storm on the tip of the tongue. Exotic and very memorable. — 11 years ago
2013 Red / superbly harmonic as always — 11 years ago
Those monks know what they're doing. Sweet and herbaceous and full of flavour. — 12 years ago
It was great to have Damien & Angelique Coutelas over and drink some of their excellent Champagne. Their full bodied rose went very well with pork rilletes! — 12 years ago
@delectable This is a Texan, not a Californian; Texas High Plains AVA to be exact. I'm speechless after this effort... insane character and uniqueness. Has it's own definitive style without losing the soul of Sauvignon Blanc. This is straight up radiating with energy.
My girl wanted in on this review. She's got a way with words that is one in a million 😜 So, here is our combined effort:
"Now featuring: The Green Elixir. Wisps of kiwi swiftly enter the nasal passage on command. Over-ripened sweet cantaloupe charges through leaping over fresh Bosc pears. Similar to walking through a field of freshly cut grass on a midsummer Sunday morning. Upon walking through the renewed grass, you will come across loamy soil, enveloped with sandy silt. Dandelions magically pop up along the adventurous route dancing lazily in the breeze.
Taste consistently bathes, not lingers, but bathes on the palate. Anyone ever kiss a lime rind? Experience it now with The Green Elixir. Sour, yet makes you yearn for more. Granny Smith apples frolic throughout the tastebuds. Heading towards the end of our adventure, straw begins to make an appearance and wants to join in the fun. At the peak of the completion of our endeavor, a special herb comes out to play. Lemon Basil pleasantly surprises you to make sure your finale is more than grand.
*Medium-plus acidity and Medium-minus body

Remember life. Because; Death. Thank you for all your wine making brilliance my friend, @thesamkaplan for this luscious elixir in the form of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. We drank up with delight as we paired with a hearty carnivorous meal at Slate Restaurant Orlando. We lost ourselves in the depth of color and the over ripe fruit on the nose rolled elegantly over the palette as we chewed on the texture and chased the smooth finish with yet another sip. Cheers!!! Encore si'l vous plait! — 10 years ago
Flavors and aromas of dried fig, molasses, hazelnut, raisin, pipe tobacco, nutmeg, dried mushroom, and more, with a juicy, luscious, viscous mouthfeel and superlong and super sweet. A classic dessert elixir from the masters of Sherry. #Valdespino — 10 years ago
Elixir of the Provence gods. That's a kiss five fingers and explode wine. — 10 years ago
Amontillado was long my favorite Sherry style. Palo Cortado is where it's at for me these days. One of the best here and truly sings after a week. Polished off remains with salt roasted almonds, elixir of Zibibbo from Pantellaria and Fiore Sicano cheese. — 11 years ago
Warning: may cause Tequila Amnesia — 12 years ago
Refreshing with hints of peaches, apricots, and play doh. Makes me feel 12 again, carefree, slightly flushed, and vibrant. Nothing can beat a $13 bottle of youth elixir. — 9 years ago
Let this one breathe for an hour or more. Incredible bouquet is followed up with a beautifully well balanced elixir. Exceptional for the price point. — 10 years ago
I was looking for essence of tannin to go with the leg of lamb on Boxing Day, and found it in this righteous elixir. No pussyfooting around here--it's the real stuff. Shot through with coarse-ground black pepper; sturdy as a faithful hiking boot. — 10 years ago
Super balanced, 100% Grenache. — 10 years ago

Initially quite pruny and woody but this dissipates with some air. Still young but starting to show a bit of bricking in crimson elixir. Nice cherry cola fruit and tangy finish. Needs more acidity to be outstanding. — 11 years ago
Très doux et sucre! Se boit seul sur glace. Les fille aiment! — 12 years ago
What are you, marvelous elixir? — 12 years ago

Not sure what the stats are on the 2014 vintage in NZ, but this one touched on elixir for me at first. It tightened up a bit with the Ramen at Kitchen Door, but I would be curious to taste past vintages, and looking forward to future releases. — 8 years ago
