Crisp and dry. Paired nicely with the roasted Brussels sprouts and Nancy Cakes (corn cakes with whipped bitter and smoked trout roe). — 7 years ago
Cloudy, zippy, well-balanced, and an excellent value prosecco! Will definitely be buying more of this. — 7 years ago
This is a classic example of a Col Fondo Prosecco - made in the classic Champagne method with second fermentation in the bottle and not disgorged - the lees remain in the bottle (fondo=lees). Crisp, we'll balanced acidity and deep flavor. Lemon and pear. Brut, excellent quality with much more flavor than a standard Prosecco — 8 years ago
100% Otrugo grapes Spumante col fondo wine from Piacenza in Val D’Arda valley. Very pale in color, 12% vol, great acidity. Soil low in nitrogen. Sand with seashell fragments. High in potassium which results in musts that are rich in mineral salts. Great value at 16 euros. Roscioli wine club. — 6 years ago
Amazingly refreshing. Grab this if you can’t find a prosecco col fondo. — 7 years ago
