Love this wine! I think it got better with age too. Great velvet mouth feel, jamminess, balanced tannins, blueberry and blackberry flavors. — 7 years ago
Viva Uruguay!!!! I really love this wine and the blend is great. 60% Tempranillo 40% Tannat its 14.5% Alcohol by volume but you wouldn't know. I really wish these wines would make it to the USA. At $23 a great price for the level of quality. Not sure how it will age but it's so yummy the bottles I brought may not last. — 8 years ago
The standard expression is very good, but the barrel aged version is out of this world amazing. I was only able to get my hands on one can so I won't be able to asses how it ages, but even young it is exceptional. — 8 years ago
The wine offers a light, golden hue and the aromas we want with the Albarino grape. The honeysuckle is right up front, followed closely by pineapple and tangerine. An earthy note shows on the palate, a minerality that goes far beyond citrus zest. There’s a bright acidity that will support a Cobb salad or chicken breast just as well as it does a handful of walnuts. — 9 years ago
A blend of 80% tannat grapes. Hits hard but smooths out as you sip. — 9 years ago
Such a good porter! Started getting it at Keg 229 and then bought a six pack for myself at Whole Foods. — 10 years ago

A very nice surprise. Excellent SB from Uruguay. Crisp and clean. Citrus fruit with a touch of acidity. Delicious — 9 years ago
Wonderful balance. Merlot and Tempranillo counterweight the heavy Tanat. Still, a meaty wine for read meats. Velvety and round tho. Some blackberries and forest fruits - little tanine. — 9 years ago
One of my favorite dry hopped sours. — 9 years ago

My first Uruguay wine and I really enjoy this. A little musty on the nose and light, airy, and balanced on palate. Consistent and balance finish. Great value for a $15 wine. — 9 years ago
Unique dessert wine. Nose of vanilla, taste of chocolate. — 10 years ago
This is the best wine my grandfathers made. Even got a picture of him drinking it. This Syrah is huge in body and spicy like no other. Intense black peppercorn on the nose, lush creamy berry up front. Finishes again peppercorn spice. This is as good as it gets. — 11 years ago

Great red from Uruguay. Big black fruit aromas. Full and ripe fruit flavors of blackberries and plums. Big note of juniper berries. Hints of herbs and just the right amount of oak. Rich and velvety texture. Did not have the big tannin structure I was expecting. Blending in 30% Merlot is a great move. Really softened the big Tennat tannin reputation. Outstanding vino! — 7 years ago
