1hr+ decant and could have used more. Dark red color. Interesting nose with metallic, medicinal tones that tingled my nose. Wine has massive strawberry and cassis; and is sweeter than I was expecting. Very concentrated. The tannins reduce with ample air and the spicy aspects dissipate with time as well making it more approachable. Medium finish. — 3 years ago
Powerful aromatics that speak to Aussie Riesling... Key lime, grapefruit, lemon zest, and petrol - think fresh tennis balls. Bounding acidity meets ripe, juicy tropical fruit, as this maintains a dry, lasting finish. Paired with spicy curry, but would also go great poolside in the summer. Fun fact: Vineyard planted in 1912. Outstanding effort. 11% ABV — 5 years ago

REALLY liked this wine. And, it was from Canada. The som recommended this over a Bordeaux and he nailed it. Again, would love to find this here — 11 years ago
Continues to be one of the better sequoia grove reds. Earthy and balanced and it took harsh or tannic. — 8 months ago
Solid and definitely needed the aerator but aging well. Will be excellent in a few years. Deep and earthy. Lots of dark fruit. — 3 years ago
A stunner. Opened with that rustic cab smell. Not sure what lies beneath that initial nose. And then just pure explosive goodness in the glass. Black fruit, swirling with brown fruit in every sip. Lingering finish made for a wonderful moment or two. — 5 years ago

Smells like winter ❄️ menthol, apple, toasty, creamy, touch of honey on the nose. The taste lemongrass, rose petal... Gives you a silky tongue 🌹😛 — 9 years ago

Honeysuckle, unctuous and textural. A medium to full bodied white. Handpicked and wild fermented in old French Oak. Yalumba have now been working with this varietal for 40 years in the Eden Valley which has proven to be an ideal terroir for Viognier. The best example of a straight Viognier available in Australia and Yalumba’s flagship white. — 10 months ago
Medium bodied with zesty citrus and underripe stone fruit. Crisp, clean, and petrol-y. — 5 years ago
Perfectly aged. Kerosine on the nose. Perfectly balanced. — 7 years ago
A blockbuster. Dry. Needs to sit for 5-8 years. — 8 years ago
Powerful fruit, gamey under-tones, hint of cocoa. Fabulous effort. — 8 years ago
Fruity profile (Cherry, blueberry, etc). Smooth, dry and full bodied. Beautiful red from the okanagan region. — 9 years ago
I was drawn to the description including caramel and creme brûlée. Delicious! Not too sweet nor too dry. The price makes it even better. Apparently it's hard to come by so I'm buying up all I can tomorrow!!

Pale straw color with a slight green cast. Piercing aromas of petrol and wet slate with slight hints of white flowers and lemon/lime. The palate features ripe red apple, white peach, lemon and lime with a light touch of spicy ginger. A bit of a chalky texture which is well balanced by bracing acidity. A bit of CO2 bubbles in the glass. Long and lingering finish. Great with food. — 8 months ago
