Paradise Springs a Local winery to me developed a well balanced Cabernet that could compete with any Napa Cabernet that I currently have in my wine cellar. Hitting all the necessary smokey tannins and with deep hints of tobaccos and rich flavors of blackberry. Hints of oak seep through the richness of the wine as the dryness of the Cabernet leave and echo of desire to drink more. Truly a wonderfully rich wine for such a local winery. A delectable red for an everyday drink of sorts. — 9 years ago
Very impressive. Even blind this was not that hard to pin down as Ygrec. Even though it's a dry wine with tons of sauv blanc grapefruit character there is an almost muscat-like echo of sweetness without actually being sweet that screams Sauternes, and none of the other dry Sauternes have the power and footprint of Yquem which is evident even here. Superb cleansing freshness despite its weight class. — 10 years ago

So many things. Peach. Pomegranate. Plum. Sneaky tannins. The echo of animal. Grand Slam home run with braised rabbit parpardelle. So good. @Hardy Wallace killing it. — 10 years ago
Visited the winery in south Africa, very delicious wine. Champagne is delicious also! — 11 years ago

A GORGEOUS white, will definitely buy this again! — 10 years ago
A nose reminiscent of Gamay, with cherry, ample spice, and a little bit of dank musky tang. Almost like balls. Spicy, mineral-laden cherry notes on the palate that echo the musky hints on the nose. Unique, light bodied and tasty. — 10 years ago
A textbook color of ruby red. Terroir driven for sure, the nose is a plume of earth and pure red fruits. The palate has a gentle femininity to it, beautifully elegant and classy. The tannins are smooth as silk, the finish a persistent echo of the terroir. — 10 years ago
Tres Beautiful nose 👃👃👃
Caramel apple-banana brûlée top notes, pear and spice underneath, still-pert lemon zest and peach custard, too. Palate delivers that Cali-leonine body -ie big! - but with enough brisk acidity to keep things more than decent. Long, with flavors that echo the nose and all around beautiful balance. Drinking super well at moment, near its peak and rewarding this bit of bottle age with plenty of secondary characteristics. PLUS:: #winebling (yes, there are some tartrate crystals, folks - all just adding to the allure - game on!) — 10 years ago

I'll echo the consensus - a lovely, elegant expression of Napa terroir in a Syrah. Vanilla notes give way to spiciness - fruit is at a balanced concentration with silky tannins. Vegetal tobacco notes from stems. Wish I bought more. John is an absolute rock star. 2012 vintage — 9 years ago
I love the Echo label made by Lynch, and this was a power house of a Bordeaux. Brick wall of tannin even 4 hours later and after 60, yes, 60 hours of decanting, the flavors being masked by high acidity and tannin of a young wine finally had their 15 seconds of fame. Dark rich flavors of creme-de-casis and blackberry tart, and gravelly minerality, with a toasty oak undertone and still finishing with a firm tannin but just more enjoyable than right out of the bottle. — 10 years ago
Love it with ice on a hot day the fruit balance is good and refreshing — 10 years ago
Aromatics if smoke, stone, fresh tobacco, black currant, pine needle. Med + acid, med- sexy silky tannins. On palate, black berry, black currant, forest floor! — 10 years ago
This is the 2010 Echo West Vineyard. Proving to be a fine example of Cabernet quality coming out of eastern Oregon. — 10 years ago
I picked this up from a Whole Foods when it was on sale, and did not expect too much from it... I let it sit for about an hour prior to drinking, and I really enjoyed it!
It's dry, but very flavorful.
Notes of cherry in a lingering echo of taste after I drink it...
I very pleasant surprise for something so cheap. — 11 years ago
