High Tide Santa Barbara County Red Rhone Blend 2012

Delicious wine. Benefits greatly from decanting. Firm pleasurable tannins. This wine is a keeper and in 3-4 years will be amazing. Rating the wine where it is now. Will buy more bottles to lay down.👍🏼 — 10 years ago

Two Shepherds

Fanucchi Vineyard Trousseau Gris 2014

Skin fermented gray varietal (12 days on the skins). Gorgeous. Aroma is low tide, the washed up sea stuff that's been baking in the sun for a few hours. Pickled green peach almond stone and melon rims on the palate. Fucking beautiful. — 10 years ago

Bin 40 Merlot 2013

This has been a joy to drink. Paired it with a medium rare tenderloin steak and it has been fantastic. I am routinely impressed my the pairing of a good red and steak. But this one paired well. Regardless of the pairing; this wine would be perfect even by itself. The drink ability isn't hindered by the pairing or not. The wine is absolutely great by itself. The is virtually no acidity. No bad creep up on indigestion. The flavor is good and tasty especially through the entire bottle. It has been a joy. I feel great and that's probably the wine talking. Smooth and tasty and no acid. No indigestion. Decently smooth flavor (at least enough to tide you over until the buzz sets in) and more of a dryer wine. An absolute steal at $4. A bottle in at this moment and I'd go for another bottle. — 10 years ago

Isla Negra

High Tide Valle Central Carménère 2013

Six different grapes ageing in French oak made the trick; a complex and rich wine, full of intense yet delicate aromas and flavors - Um blend de seis castas o envelhecimento em carvalho francês dão o tom aqui; um vinho complexo e estruturado, com grande intensidade de aromas delicados e sabores formidáveis! — 11 years ago

Tide + Travel Pinot Noir 2014

Ocean Spray Cranraspberry on the nose. Deep cooked red fruit on the palate. This is decieving wine where the nose doesn't reflect the palate at all. The nose is nice though... — 9 years ago

Good acidity. Perfect pair with clams and oysters. Tide on the nose. You drink it like an ocean water. Kind of bubbling in the mouth. Good wine — 10 years ago

I've been concerned about you. The way you just disappear, I miss our discussions on art & politics, and favorite flavor of chaw & who can forget the straw or the pouring of champagne on yourself only wearing a bra, if only you wouldn't of kicked the habit then maybe I could help you & uncle jeb hunt that rabbit, oh what a feast, instead of having to a eat a grizzly beast

I don't know how to respond. Lol. You need to bring that west coast self down south. We can set you straight and show you the beauty of nature. It's a secret though. We don't welcome everyone. It is what it is. I hope you get some rain...if your people with more in touch with nature opposed to lavish lifestyles filled with materialistic matter the earth might give back to your land. Hey, I'm just saying that out of love though. I'm the Cherokee girl over here. What do I know?

Nah,
Not the people, it's simple geography, California used to be part of Mexico, which is a desert, the only reason Southern California became a so called oais is because of the aqueducts bringing water from the sierra mountains, thats why if you travel east of L.A for an hour or so you hit desert, thats how all cali should look, just like Arizona, gotta pick your poison, want water & snow go back east, want sun, then live in a desert,
