Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
This is crazy young, but is already that good...and will go up a point or two over the next few years without question. Dust covered ripe fruits (blackberry, raspberries, plum) on the nose with a powerful entry and mid palate...cascading rich fruits that ooze flavor. Dark chocolate caramel too. Tannic and plenty of acidity to go for a good while. Wish I could have spent more time with this. Thank you @Eric LaMasters for bringing this and opening in the name of research! — 6 years ago
Another 4th Friday for the books! Insane pulls this month to follow up the most epic month (April) that we’ve ever had!
Would love to open this against a Rivers-Marie Pinot. A lot of black cherry concentrate and pepper. Finish is very acidic and young...the RM shows a tad more fruit and complexity on the mid-palate. — 6 years ago

This straw-colored Michigan Chardonnay smells of nothing but fruit, since it was never introduced to oak. Meyer lemon, stone fruit and tropical notes rise up from the glass. On the palate, that's where it really takes off. The fruit flavors jump right out, but it's the full malolactic fermentation that steals the show. The wine is so full and creamy, you'd swear there had to some oak barrels somewhere along the way. Racy acidity adds to what is already an embarrassment of riches. — 5 years ago
Smooth and jammy. A consistently tasty product. Not a hint of metallic. Tried again after 15 years and was definitely impressed. — 6 years ago

Eagle Ridge is one of my favorite boutique wineries in Livermore. They use all estate grapes and the Petite Sirah is their signature wine. This 6 year old PS has flavors of plum and brambleberries. — 5 years ago
Apple, pear, lemon. Bright acidity and bubbles. Hits the spot on a hot day. — 6 years ago
Solid supping whiskey — 7 years ago

Our first wine from Good Harbor and a nice surprise. Tart up front and sweetness at the end - but neither too sweet or too tart. Nice balance. — 3 years ago
