Woody nose. Herbs. Dried fruit. Unlike any Rhône that I have had. Very interesting. — 8 years ago
My kind of basic Bordeaux. Nice finish and good with any hearty home cooking. Has an earthiness some might not like, so not for folks who need tepid wine. — 9 years ago
Lifted and elegant, has a high elevation profile with its acid but a lower elevation side with its ripeness and warmth. Carries with it rich red/black fruit, pine, roast beef, coffee grind, undertones of pastille, herbs, and rocks. There’s a layer of brett that is so beautiful, spiced, savory, working well. Reminds me of Chave brett, so alluring. There’s a kiss or reduction but generous air blew it off. Inaugural vintage for this cool site, cant wait to crack the 2015 soon. — 6 years ago

Well balanced, not overly alcoholic even at 14ABV, not too jammy with dark cherries, underbrush and garrigue, and a touch of spice. Moderate but persistent tannins, lovely finish, a great value! — 8 years ago

Low tannin, good acid, ripe fruit (cranberry/cherry/raspberry) in a balanced and restrained way. A hint of mint. Great value. — 8 years ago

Pippa
A biodynamic wine with indigenous yeast from a crazy-old wine family in Cotes De Bordeaux. Deep red garnet color. The nose is dry herbs, maybe sage. Bright with medium tannins, and flavors of cranberry, cherry, and leather. — 5 years ago
