1989 La Mission Haut Brion x2. Drank at dinner a WP@HBA w K, A&T, Raj and M DS and AS. Fresh out of an unopened case. Decanted for a good hour on DS's suggestion and could have decanted another hour. Amazing. We were all floored how good this wine was. Strong earthy and vegetal qualities with a super long, balanced finish. Amazing nose. Such a treat by K — 11 years ago

1993 Domaine G. Roumier Bonnes Mares Grand Crus. Drank at Katsuya w K, McC, DS, Judy. Third red of the night. Awesome! Each one got better and better. DS still preferred the 1990 Clos de LA Roche. — 12 years ago
