Wow and amazing.. — 3 years ago
Deep rich, cherries, some underlying pepper. Dry, balanced tannins. A keeper, especially at this price. — 5 years ago

Very enjoyable, found this very bold in the first taste and mellowed out towards the finish which was very smooth. Fruity and balanced. — 7 years ago
Drinking the 2008 in 2018. Deep dark rich color with excellent clarity. Dense rich nose. Raspberry, cherry and pepper. Very BIG flavor, rich with cassis, raspberry and earth. Low tannins and a balanced smooth finish. Wonderful wine! — 8 years ago
Had to get it again to share. So good for how inexpensive it is — 8 years ago
很早就买的酒了一直没评价,在这个价位可以说是能把苏格兰威士忌的味道整得比较明白了,有烟熏还有些甜感,千万别被呛着就好,可惜闻起来感觉酒精还是有小小得重 — 2 years ago
Very good cab from Columbia valley. Would buy again at smyrna beverage warehouse for $17. — 3 years ago
A fine wine with lots of fruit and mineral aspects. Can still age a bit — 5 years ago
Cherry pie, rhubarb pie, and fresh strawberry on the nose. The palate displays dark cherry, cooked strawberry, cedar, white pepper, and solid minerality. A big bodied but silky Pinot with medium minus tannins, medium plus alcohol, and high acid. — 6 years ago
Excellent Wine. Subtle sweat and sour taste.. Very interesting. — 7 years ago
Okay - fine. It’s a good, probably great wine. Overpriced? Yes. Opus is filled with pretentious douchbags? Double yes. But this is a well-made wine bridging a gap between Napa and Boudreaux. Dusty nose with menthol, earl grey tea, tobacco, flowers, cassis, and creamy dark fruits. It has a really nice velvety finish. — 8 years ago
I tasted the 1982 Lynch-Bages twice within a month, both at a private dinner in London and at the château, from bottle and double-magnum on separate occasions. Both vindicate an exceptionally fine 1982, perhaps a bit overlooked in a vintage full of stars. Curiously, the bottle in Bordeaux does not fully deliver the mesmerizing freshness and energy compared to the bottle in London: pencil-lead-tinged black fruit intermixed with clove and freshly-rolled tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, perhaps just a little austere compared to its peers. Yet, indeed, the bottle in London exudes class and composure with a detailed, mineral-driven vintage belying that year's unseasonably warm period. Superb. Tasted both in London at a private dinner and at the château. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2023) — 3 years ago

Yeah I remember, but this bottle has some serious Peat & Smoke. Nice upgrade. Great winter nights pourSurprisingly, I kinda liked this despite my aversion to overly-hopped beers. The nose is a straight up hop-bomb - floral, citrusy, piney. The palate's also full-on, with heaps of hoppy bitterness, but balanced by malty sweetness and tropical fruit notes (passionfruit and mango for me). Finishes crisp and earthy. Not bad, but not my kind of beer (not an IPA fan basically). — 7 years ago

My favorite non-nitro stout. Flavor notes are perfect and well balanced. It’s what stouts of this variety should aspire to be — 8 years ago
Malty with just the right amount of sweetness. Thicker than I usually like, but not overpowering. Bavaria! — 8 years ago

Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Dark and inky ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit, purple flowers, baking spices and a light touch of vanilla. Juicy flavors of dark cherry, black berry/currant and raspberry fruit with additional notes of chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cedar. A bit of black pepper spice on the long finish. Medium body and acidity with very smooth tannins. Well balanced and versatile. Solid quality for the price. — 9 months ago
