Light yellow gold. Bright fruit forward nose. Notes of lemon and apricot, wet gravel stone, some honey and a delicious spice. Fine grained acidity hits the mouth and makes an impact. Great nose powers up over the evening. Still young and needs more time to improve. Lighter in the mid palate but still outperforms expectations. — 4 years ago
Sweet fruit and clean earth. Perhaps a touch light but drinking great fir 14 years. Good length. — 6 years ago

Absolutely brilliant stuff. Lemon, lime, stones, minerals -- it's all there. Drinking well yet will improve for years. Bravo performance from an only decent vintage — 9 years ago
Very much on the dark, earthy, minerally side. So dark and full of smoky ember crushed stone that I’d almost be tempted to place it half-way around the world in Walla Walla. Palate is rich and dark, a highlights more savory minerally notes than fruit. Distinctive and good but not a typical fruity Crozes. — 5 months ago
Lovely and aging well. Very smooth and bright with cherry notes but not overly so. Earthly and interesting but still light. — 4 years ago

Ha! 1 for 2 not bad! Little ripe and oaky for me. Needed a tad more acid but still delicious. — 6 years ago
28 October 2016. Rouge Tomate, New York, NY. — 8 years ago
Good vintage despite the early oxidative tendencies of the whites. This one sure showed that, but it still had bright structure and that full Combettes texture. Solid wine. — 10 years ago
Hell yea.
About an hour after opening - my astounded thought to myself: this must be the platonic ideal of ‘razor sharp precision’. Just an astounding, and absolutely delicious wine. — 6 months ago
Ok. Fruity and dark fruit. Definitely better with time in the bottle and good for the price but better options are out there. — 7 months ago
Good and very cherry but not as much as some other younger wines. Not sure if I like this more than the other higher end petite sirahs of theirs. — 3 years ago
Great stone fruit flavors. Touch of oak on the finish — 8 years ago
Incredibly floral, well balanced, full bodied — 8 years ago
Great bottle - enjoyed just after a swim at the topa topa mountains were getting pink — 9 years ago
