Auger easy drinking, accidentally had the whole bottle — 6 years ago
Excellent white. Bright and peach-y, without the dullness, cloying texture and alc that can mar Rhône-style blends. Great value at €13 — 7 years ago
Very expressive nose - loads of sophisticated, restrained but quietly rich black fruit, with some black pepper and cigar box. Beautiful mouthfeel. Silky. Palate starts off sweet but then evolved with some spice. No more than medium bodied but great persistence and very long. Needs a few years to integrate more and fill out a bit but sublime balance and individual components auger very well for the future. Giaconda Warner vineyard at half the price. — 7 years ago
very nice light bubbly and beautiful golden color — 9 years ago
Enjoyed with duck confit with family on Mother's Day. Smooth, no tannins. Light residual auger with full mouth of cherries! Yum! — 9 years ago
Un assemblage splendide. Les fruits très mûrs, voire même les arômes de pruneau, sont omniprésents. En bouche, ces arômes laissent place à des notes chocolatées. La longueur en bouche de ce vin est superbe. — 10 years ago
Ripe ripe ripe. Not sure it deserves the 96 PTs from WA but still a pleasure bomb for hedonistic sexpots! — 10 years ago
Nice fresh with minerals — 11 years ago
White 2005. Top — 11 years ago
Surprise, surprise, I love surprises! Pick this up for only $11 @ my local wine outfit. Tasted very similar to a Chateau Puech Haut les prestige that I bought years ago but for half the price. If you find this buy it, especially if it's $11! — 6 years ago
St. Michael-Eppan’s 2017 Pinot Grigio is laced with aromas and flavors of ripe pear, honey and yellow flowers. Long and luscious on the palate, the 2017 is close in quality to the more expensive, top of the line Auger Pinot Grigio, and that’s almost never the case. $16.00 (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, December 2018) — 7 years ago
Great taste with a hint of spice at the finish. — 7 years ago
Decanting now,
I've had it for 24 hours. Seems like years I couldn't even sleep last night.
Finally a wax capsule thats not 1/2 inch thick that requires an auger bit to get to the cork,
This is some great juice even at 15.8 abv, I'll save my 2nd bottle for a couple years or days which ever comes first,
81% Syrah 8% Petite Syrah rest of the blend includes Mouvedre, touriga nacional & Graciano ?🤔 — 8 years ago
Very nice French wine syrah blend — 9 years ago
In an attempt to "hang" with my wine distributor friend tonight, I ventured out of my comfort zone with this syrah grenache blend and was pleasantly surprised. RP-kissed this one for a reason - big and bold - aromatic - a very good value drinkable. Paired nicely with my salmon and spinach salad. By day, I seek value in the bond market to pass along to my customers, so this got me thinking: what is/are the best value wine(s) you're drinking right now?? #sharethelove — 9 years ago
Nearly as good as Puech Haut. — 11 years ago
New rose 2013 at PUECH haut — 11 years ago
Light salmon color. Tart on the palate with a mineral backbone. A satisfying acid finish. Clean and crisp, a classic French style rose’. — 6 years ago
3.4. Lovely Langedoc red, with good spices and fruits. On sale for $19.99, regularly $21.99. — 6 years ago
Fruity but not overwhelmingly so. Light and dry easy for a group and a soft summer breeze! — 7 years ago
Non ce male. tannicita morbido. Ma 17 dollari per una bicchiere sarebbe troppo caro al cigar bar. — 7 years ago
Blind tasted. So confusing and delicious. Need More. Want more. — 8 years ago
