What a terrific value at around $30 for this stellar vintage of LM. Mild green pepper, cloves, and lemon shine bright at the start and finish with a smooth melody of vanilla and currant. — 8 years ago
10 dollars...trader joes its a melody of fruit and body. Its all thanks to california. Sorry france. Sorry south africa. ..perhaps argentina and chile can perform. But this solidifies california for cabs. And washington and oregon and burgundy has pinot — 8 years ago
Brisk and nicely sour — 8 years ago
Developing nicely. Acids holds the pitch whilst the fruit, oak and secondary flavours make the melody. Still fresh but with nice richness. Happy as Larry! 94. — 9 years ago
New world without paying service and gratitude to old world makings. Soft and silky smooth flavors that pour a fruit forward melody of raspberry kiwi ripe blackberry tastes finished with a dry fantastic breath of greatness. — 10 years ago
BBQ pork ribs peeled back the rich, black fruit compote to reveal a complex herbaceous melody of spice and a softly defined structure. A food pairing sculptural work of art. — 10 years ago
I’d put this in the category of “supremely balanced”. It could age another year or so but the tannins are like the harmony to the melody of the gourmet grape jam notes. Normally saying a wine reeked of grape jam would be an insult but this is...like artisan grape jam. With a hit of booze in it. That you’d spread on brioche. Not the most complex cab but really lovely. Soothing. Lullaby wine. Perfect pop n pour with a friend to round off a busy Monday. — 8 years ago
Bold cranberry and currant with mild hints of abuse and mint. Soft yet grippy with tight little tannins that cling to your tongue like a melody from the past. Needs time so you can hear the orchestra, but will delicious today. Pair with meatballs and Mikes Davis. — 8 years ago

Musical with a wild melody and palatable voice-- — 10 years ago
Big Day, Valentine's and Ash Wed, so had to bring out a big gun. Brought it back from our visit to the winery in 2013, and it's luscious, round and yummy! Getting chocolate, raspberries, cherries and a hint of spice in a wonderful melody mid palate... Just awesome. Glad I have 1 more! — 8 years ago
Drank 12/17/17 with Warren and Melody. Stuffed pork chop, broccoli, and sautéed apples. A wonderful example of Shiraz, doubly good for the price. — 8 years ago
Nice dry red. Enjoyed with JO, Stephen, Melody and Nick at Uva. — 8 years ago
The 14 is very concentrated. Ripe, rich, liqueur in style. Black and blue fruit melody. There's some spice, light pepper, loamy moist dark soil, red roses and violets, touch of Worcestershire sauce, nice acidly and good balanced of mixed fruit & earth on the finish. — 9 years ago
Pure fruit, great length, haunting aromatics. Thanks Mike and Melody — 10 years ago

If this wine could sing it would fill the air with a brooding, heavy, bass-driven melody with a tenor backing that sneaks in and takes over to finish. Heavy at first, leathery and dark forest, it gradually opens into a more bright and fruit forward drink with red cherry and rich exotic spices. Much more poetic than this description. — 7 years ago
