Rich, slick glycerin wax coat the tongue and mouth in luxurious sweet honey, lemon citrus strips it back, and you start again. Wonderful wine from @sommselect — 8 years ago
The oak is a bit heavy at this juncture, but the lime and papaya tinged fruit shines through. Classy. — 9 years ago

Wow! Roulot Chardonnay with age is amazing! The precision is still there, but with that wonderful aged Chardonnay nutty goodness. The wine started out with a muted nose, but it blossomed over the course of an hour and became quite effusive! Perfect condition too👌 — 9 years ago
Nose and palate of yellow flowers and citrus. Notably fresh, compared to recent tired bottle. — 9 years ago
Drinkable after decanting. Would have preferred it to be drier and full bodied. — 11 years ago

Here's a finely balanced #bourgogneblanc that drinks so pleasantly by itself - touch of oak, good acid, a bit more fruit forward but still some steely minerality. It's a really versatile pairing wine - believe it or not, it paired well with some mild enchiladas and refried black beans, with that brightness and fruit cutting through the richness of the cheese and beans.
