Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Nice weight with an enticing nose. Notes of citrus, toast, clay, river stone and pit fruit. Rich and palate staining in the mouth. Seems young. I guess 02 Leflaive Combettes. We were all surprised with the reveal as a few of us have had this bottle a dozen times or more and we didn’t guess it. Fruit nose with ginger hint. Here comes the Meursault mouth-filling power and high acidity. Less depth as opposed to Ch-M we tasted in the previous flight. Generous wine, but still a baby.
Fruit comes from the prized Dessus sector (top part), in the middle of Lafon’s portion, next to Puligny Combettes and touching Perrières. — 7 years ago
Dark ruby color. A wine I haven’t had. Apparently a combo of Grenache and Cabernet. Strong strawberry nose. A nice palate of dark cherry strawberry tobacco. Complex long finish. — 3 years ago
Very nice premier cru Puligny Montrachet. Deeply aromatic. Full bodied and a bit creamy but with champagne like mouth clearing acidity. Very nice. — 7 years ago

5-Oh Bday Dinner... Beautiful light to med gold color. Intense nose that caused everyone to smile. Some of that petrol smell with wet river stone and citrus. In the mouth this was amazing.
