So so good. This is an inspiration wine for me - I started making a wine as an homage to this style a couple of years ago. So happy I did. I love this expression of grenache - you get all of the fruit, with some nice earthiness but minimal tannins and just a lot of depth in what is inherently a “simple” wine. Love this bottling, love this producer. — 3 years ago
Maurizio Sòt is a superstar. This is a rockstar wine. Nose is so unique and aromatic. Red cherries, herbs, sweet roses, sweeter darker cherries, amazing perfume. The brilliance of 2016 Barolo at the village level is not talked about enough. Glorious spice after 15-18 minutes now. Just glorious. Oh the palate. Sweet and decadent and precise with super sappiness on the finish. Gorgeous red fruits, strawberry, even a hint of red delicious apple, and so many cherries. Amazing precision and depth. Big tannins ensure a long life. Classically structured. Excellent length and persistence. — 4 years ago

Stunning nose. This is the 2nd vintage I’ve had and this is the real deal Langhe Nebbiolo. Gorgeous light color. Opaque. Strawberries from heaven. Spice. Citrus rind. Loads of spice, tar and flowers. Just so aromatic. Palate is super juicy, crazy linear and has terrific fruit and freshness. So energetic and precise. Terrific grainy tannins and lovely earthy sweetness. Chewy and toothsome. A great wine. As it airs it gets more spherical, concentrated and focused. Also some smoke on the nose. One of the best LN’s we sell. — 4 years ago
Samuel Sabori
Still spry, energetic, and settled. Drank over the course of 12 hours, and still showed the dimensions we crave from Robinot. This bottle has made me think all of his bottles need 5-10 years. I bet this could’ve sat for another 5-10 and been just fine. — a month ago
