2014 vintage. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30%Merlot and equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aged 16 months in barriques (30% new). Cassis, cedar wood and a dash of clove and black pepper. Medium-bodied, with fresh fruit, tannin with a slightly rough edge, and good spicy length. Good value at 13 euros. Unfortunately owner Bernard Lartigue passed away in October 2020. His very young daughter Alice-Jeanne is now in charge. — 4 years ago

Beautiful rose, wish I had bought more than 2 bottles. Great rose, not too sweet, not too dry. Nice balance. Multi flavors and nice finish. — 8 years ago

Third rating for this: started at 10 degrees , and warmed up to around 15-18 in a warm 29 degrees tropical Singapore. Was fresh, crisp, lemon-like at first, followed by zesty mandarin orange flavours that finally matured to mellow honey apricots. Best of all coloured like the upcoming Chinese New Year - perfect gold. — 5 years ago

A nice bouquet of flower. Silky palate and cinammon. There is fruit but some is bitter. Good level of minerality and chalky. Tannin is refine. — 6 years ago
I’ve got a head cold but this bottle is still rockin. Bottle age has softened the fruit character and emphasized a perfumy floral quality. Bruised red stone fruit, ripe soil, and fresh herbs found out the nose. Fine tannins and juicy acidity are persistent through the long finish. A pretty, elegant bottle that is both interesting and a pleasure to drink. — 8 years ago

Surprised by a pretty developed gold color. Nice weight on the tongue with a mixed red fruited texture that washes over it with a slight finish of green vegetation or stem. Lemon curd and warm brioche…. Tart gooseberry and cranberry notes on the nose. And a long caress of a finish. Think time will smooth some of the rough edges but all in all impressive even in its youth. — 3 years ago
