Ruby color with aromas of raspberry and strawberry. Medium acidity and low tannin. Dry. Medium finish of tart raspberry. Good starter or served with something like salmon or greens. Wouldn't play to well with a more meaty entre. Price is right under $20 but we could probably do better. — 8 years ago
Still shows deep fruit. Blueberry and such. Medium tannins, juicy finish. Lovely — 8 years ago
I don't normally drink whites but this is pretty damn good. — 10 years ago
This is the best wine my grandfathers made. Even got a picture of him drinking it. This Syrah is huge in body and spicy like no other. Intense black peppercorn on the nose, lush creamy berry up front. Finishes again peppercorn spice. This is as good as it gets. — 11 years ago
A seriously mysterious wine - idiosyncratically traditional, traditionally idiosyncratic. Secondary and tertiary aromas shine, but there’s still plenty of fruit - apricot, nectarine. Smoke, Stone. Wow. — 7 years ago
Raisins and dark fruit with a currant finish. Sweet but not stewy. Young and easy to drink without being boozy. Good quality. $16 — 9 years ago
Light and refreshing. Fruity flavors with slight vanilla undertones. Very crisp, but has a slight bite in the aftertaste. Would be great with mussels, crab, or a sharp cheese platter. — 10 years ago
Here's a finely balanced #bourgogneblanc that drinks so pleasantly by itself - touch of oak, good acid, a bit more fruit forward but still some steely minerality. It's a really versatile pairing wine - believe it or not, it paired well with some mild enchiladas and refried black beans, with that brightness and fruit cutting through the richness of the cheese and beans.

Turkey day red #2. Cherry, raspberry, vanilla, cinnamon. Nice smooth and long lasting finish. Never been disappointed by a bottle of J. — 7 years ago
Rochioli West Block might be my favorite. 2008 is also drinking very well right now. Bittersweet that this is our last meal at Scopa. It's been a delicious run. 😢😋 — 8 years ago
Becoming one of my fav NV as of late. Balanced and pure with a mix of all things great Champagne has to offer. Deliciousness that will smoke almost anything at this price point. — 8 years ago
Pulled from the wine fridge and enjoyed this with fresh Salmon.
Very berry on the palate but not jammy.
Well rounded smoooth finish with barely a hint of tannin. Wonderful! — 9 years ago
Always a nice sparkler. Enjoying this one at Giada in Vegas. — 10 years ago

A very easy drinking Riesling with nice acidity, modest fragrance and flavor and delightfully dry. Need to try more wines from NY state. — 6 years ago
