Beautiful and ethereal. Still a baby but layered and expressive nonetheless — 6 years ago
Northern Rhône Syrah that has all of the textbook qualities of the region. Dark Berry Fruit flavors are in the background. Earth, black pepper, salami, black olive with a hint of violet. Long and funky on the finish with some “barnyard notes.” Really well made and great if you like this style of wine. — 7 years ago
Pomegranate molasses/thick red raspberry fruit, but sufficiently lifted and bright such that it is refreshing. Nose brings to mind Faury Syrah but it's smoother and less feral, feels stem my but polished; obviously not the elegance of a Côte Rôtie but managed an elegant balance nonetheless. At 16€, back up the truck. Roses come to mind with air, and it seems to gain conviction, even alluding to the tiniest meatiness. Yum. — 10 years ago
Impressive p/q. Took@some time to express itself, but when it did it was all savoury, pepper, and herb de provence notes. Nice pure dark fruit mixed with pepper, forest floor, and a sour kick at the end. Prominent fine tannin brings the whole thing together. — 5 years ago
Classic côte rôtie — 7 years ago
Really better on second night! — 9 years ago
Has more leather/tar than the Faury 2015, more serious but not as alive and fresh. Feels more Southern than Northern Rhone. Still, so much density and substance. — 9 years ago
Faury Condieau is hard to beat — 11 years ago
Riktigt gott. Biff å bearnaisesås. Levererar i paritet med prislapp. — 4 years ago
Amazing! Fruity yet not too sweet. Medium body. Easy to drink — 5 years ago

Buttered popcorn nose. Sharp berry fruit, light texture and tannins. Lingered red berry. Great with beef tenderloin — 7 years ago

Starts out super aromatic, over the top intensity of stone fruit, white flowers, marble, just a touch of vanilla in the background. On the palate viscosity strikes first, with fruit stepping back, some phenolics bitterness and a mouth-coating finish — 4 years ago
