Roaix Les Perriès Côtes du Rhône Villages Red Rhone Blend 2019

Domaine du Trapadis, Les Perrières, Roaix côtes du Rhône villages 2019.
That’s how I like my côtes du Rhône ! What a wine ! A typical GSM blend although grenache tends to take the stage on the nose. Cherry, blackberry, licorice, garrigue, black pepper... there is a lot happening here. The palate is punching way above its price tag. There is good acid drive, some nice width and some matter on the sides, licorice, blackberry, pepper, a tannic wall in the rear creating a bit of drying layer over a long finish that goes on for a long while. There are blackberry, pepper, licorice notes and a tiny savoury, meaty, almost gamey note that pops in the rear. I have had worse chateauneuf du pape wines. More than once.

Les Cras Rasteau Red Rhone Blend 2017

Very nice Cote-du-Rhône on black fruits (blackberries, blueberries, plus pear, peach) ... Nice freshness, wine to drink young with friends, around 15 ° C.

Très beau Cote-du-Rhône sur les fruits noirs (mûres, myrtilles, plus poire, pêche)... Belle fraîcheur, vin a boire jeune avec des amis, vers 15 degrés.
