Interesting offering from Bynum. Offering the masses an opportunity to taste a single clone Pinot Noir. Cherry earth on the nose with a touch of citrus peel. The palate is moderately rich with red fruits and good acidity. The finish is a touch tart with decent length finish. Same earth tones as its sister 115 but with more expressive herbal notes and darker fruit tones. The mouthfeel is richer and more powerful yet the wine isn't as delineated. The finish lingers with some wood spice. More of a crowd pleaser from a hedonistic sense. Still good, but this and the 115 and have your own blending party. @Ben Leger — 9 years ago
