Bright yellow. Clear. A bit closed on the nose, ripe apples, peach, honey, oak. Dried fruits, orange on palette. Acid. Tangy or spicy. Silky, medium finish. Tasted in May 2021 at BigMacs&Burgundy book event by Alliance Francaise. — 3 years ago
Plush and open. Soft plummy fruit with a herbaceous undertow. Surprisingly settled and open right now. Very good. — 5 years ago
Pale color. Lemon zest nose. Meyer lemon, lemon cream, and dusty minerality. This is a good wine. — 6 years ago
Jeunes vignes de Ruchottes Chambertin. Tout en fruit, eclatant et soyeux. Suave et gourmand . N'a pas la meme profondeur que le grand vin par contre. — 7 years ago
Nutty, dry, deft acidity. The best kind of balance between a French dessert wine and a sherry. — 9 years ago
Color is a bit pale, almost looks like aging wine, but the taste proves the opposite—extremely light, open, drinkable bottle. Lots of oak, cherry and tobacco. Tannic, but in a pleasant way. I wouldn't like this wine on any other day, but tonight it turned out to be the perfect choice for lighter Burgundy. — 9 years ago

Hoped this would be more balanced and giving, but the rustic NSG nature sneaks through. — 3 years ago

A lovely 2012 burgundy...beautiful with imported European cheese! — 7 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 9 years ago
Gascogne, colombard + ugni blanc. Succulent, nice #acid finish. — 11 years ago
A good Chardonnay type wine. Was really good with Seafoodm — a year ago
Nice color and enticing nose of autumnal forest and notes of overripe red fruits. A bit acidic on palate and medium finish. May have waited too long but still a nice wine for the very large Turkey wings! — 3 years ago
By far my favorite of all the burgundies tasted yesterday. Very approachable, structured, fruit forward, medium bodied, with elegance and a smooth finish. Barnyard funk/ earth on the nose with red and dark cherries, rose petals, pomegranate, spices, oak, and vanilla. — 5 years ago
Nice and fresh, another bottle proving 2016 is better than 2015 to my palate in Beaujolais. — 6 years ago
