Such a different carignan. Nothing like the heavy tannic wines of old. Great acidity, dried fruits and fresh herbs. Stunning. — 6 years ago
Yes! Everything good and funky about a cab franc that I love. I look forward to exploring more vintages — 6 years ago
Medium-full bodied, solid plum and mineral elements. Really well balanced and smooth, nothing extraordinary. Opens after half hour. — 8 years ago
Simple. Good. — 8 years ago
Delicious and luscious round fruit, herbs, anise, and earth dance harmoniously on the palate, full bodied, and honestly great with or without food. Great QPR. Highly enjoyable- can't wait to see what this does with a little bit of time.. — 9 years ago

Nose is bright cherry, lavender, strawberry, raspberry, and rose. Smooth cherry and ripe strawberry predominate the palate along with cinnamon, tart peach, and ripe apricot. Light tannin, medium alcohol, and high acid that lingers long into the finish. — 5 years ago

This is perhaps a little closed right now. Syrah-dominant with a fair bit of oak-treatment so will need a little while to blossom. Although it had the mellow character of an early-drinking wine, the winemaker told me that it needs 15 years to show its best. In fact, when I told him the 2006 I opened the other week seemed a little closed he told me to forget about it for another 10 years. Clearly one for the long-haul. — 8 years ago

Lovely light summer white. Must be had super cold. — 6 years ago
PnP. Definitely drinking young.
Dark purple color. Nose has modest OH, blackberry, and tar. Dark Chocolate and black cherry on the palate. Deep wine and could have better structure. Finish is medium.
Overall very solid, but not sure it’s as good as the 96pts. Wine Advocate scores it. — 7 years ago
Smooth first taste.

A beautifully balanced, intense evocation of South of France Syrah. Though the Delectable header doesn't show it this wine is from Chateau de l'Ou and is technically an IGP Côtes Catalanes. Think Northern Rhône on steroids - less minerality but more fruit - cassis, blackberry, mocha and exceptional depth. Very long finish as well and still a few years to grow. Stunning — 8 years ago
Might be the truffle accompanying the wine, but this is truly underrated by previous raters. Sweet licorice and black current. Viral acids and subtle tannins. Drink now! — 9 years ago
