Smooth, fruit-forward Pinot. — 10 years ago
A departure from the brioche breadiness of some of the Côte des Blancs' more famous grandes maisons. PG & F also sets itself apart due to the high percentage of old vines at their relatively small estate, in a region suffering from a plethora of young vineyards. Crisp clean refreshing fruit forward. Great expression of Blanc de Blancs perfect at the raw bar — 10 years ago
Beautifully dry Chenin. Classic rubber tire finish on the nose; green and yellow fruits on the palate; lots of rocks. Not too complex for everyday drinking but not too simplistic for some contemplation. — 10 years ago

My ideal afternoon with two of the few remaining family-owned maisons of Champagne. Lots of biscuit tasting :-)

High quality rosé from one of two "maisons" out of 340 or so that use the maceration process to color the rosé champagne. The others add red wine to make it rosé. Subtle and delicate notes of red fruits that seem to ripen while sipping it. Impressive! — 9 years ago
