Long time personal fave😁 — 2 years ago
(It’s evening). Bright straw yellow. Pronounced nose. Blossom, peach, sweet yeastiness, gentle nuttiness, golden apples and pears, spicy chicken skin soup, sweet baking spices (vanilla, cinnamon). Deep and intense but round and broad, not piercing.
Dry, high acid, high alcohol, full, rounded body, hint of spritz, very saline, nice long finish. A bit austere. Couldn’t quite cope with brilllat savarin but great with the others.

Leather and dark fruits, a little bit savory, Ned-light and super smooth, blueberry strawberry pepper, great full back palate— kind of chuggable too! — 5 years ago

The description: The colour is salmon, light pink rose. The aromas show fresh strawberries, cranberry and hints of white pepper. The palate is where the romance is. The texture is crisp almost crunchy, which brings out the fresh strawberry and red tree fruit characters. This wines truly refreshes the palate… and soul.
The opinion. Perfect for quaffing on the deck and great value. Definitely buying in a dozen for summer. — 8 months ago

Judging by the other reviews, this is underrated. Perfectly good Provence rosé. With a perfect cheese fondue on a cloudy afternoon. — 9 months ago

As one can expect for a Dave Phinney wine, this is rich and ripe, but it has so much more to offer at year 14. Blueberry, fig, tobacco, cracked pepper, dried mushroom, and slight hint of barnyard. On the palate it’s juicy yet soft and ultra smooth. The finish is long, candied, and earthy.
My 2nd and last bottle. At its peak. — 2 years ago

Drank at TAC with lamb and rib eye. Refined flavors, long finish and good nose. Approximately $100 and worth it. — 4 years ago
beautiful wine, great texture, good fruits and mineral. — 6 years ago
Peach lemonade in the glass. A touch cloudy and gray, but delicate looks. Slightly astringent and hot on the nose. Nectarine pit, cloudberry, and a touch of acetone on the tongue. Almost orange wine like spices and spark. Surprising and lovely. Abso-frickin-ideal for pairing with briny seafood as well as something richer like a Malaysian honey BBQ chicken with mango salsa. — 6 years ago
