"The rock of the angels" produces this great white Grenache blend from southern France. — 10 years ago
Such a different carignan. Nothing like the heavy tannic wines of old. Great acidity, dried fruits and fresh herbs. Stunning. — 6 years ago

This is not Macabeu, as Delectable indicates. It’s 100% Serine. Much like the Segna de Cor cuvée, it’s fresh, tense and incredibly detailed for a red from such hot, hardscrabble terroir. Smashing purity; all the great Syrah feels you get from the world’s masters of the grape. Extraordinary and fine. — 7 years ago
Lovely rich rounded flavor. Heavy grainy and berry. A heavier Rhône. Absolutely irrefutable right from the bottle. 2014. Schaefer wine sale bought in 2018. — 8 years ago
Not as deep as Coutet but the flavors were solid. — 8 years ago
Very tasty, full of fruit, natural and juicy. Blend of nielucciu, sciaccarellu, syrah and grenache — 10 years ago
Blackberry. Iron. Schist. Plenty of grip, but lift and freshness to match. Best Effet Rouge to date! #roussillon #carignane #syrah #grenachenoir — 10 years ago
Love this Bordeaux blend. The smell is awesome - lightly sweet - and I love the dryness of the wine on the palate. Still a little bit of fruit though, which I like. Great for our Bastille Day cheese board (except for the salmon eggs - it highlighted their strong salt flavor) and would buy again for a French-themed meal. — 6 years ago

Great match for Mediterranean appetizers — 7 years ago
It was as my favorite simple and daily blend I would buy at La Part des Anges in Nice, cheap and easy, so happy I found it 10000kms away in Oakland at Ordinaire - less cheap but as good!! — 8 years ago

Changing rating here, there's a lot going on. The Syrah is deep with tar and blue fruits, cab adds another dimension of cassis. Lots of tannins and graphite. This is a nice wine. — 10 years ago
