Spring / summer 2021. Good, refreshing Saint Veran — 4 years ago
Fed, frugtig og flintet. Ananas, smørnoter, lidt eg, men også en god syre — 6 years ago
Man this wine was good. Smooth, lots of body, peach and honeysuckle. I need buy more. — 7 years ago
Nice value in a balanced Cali Chardonnay. Nose has beautiful pear juice, a little char from the oak, but not too much, and a wet clay-like earthy note. Round and balanced in the mouth. Persistent finish. Comparable to a good Pouilly-Fuisse or Saint Veran. — 7 years ago

Interesting wine, very floral, quite aromatic for the appellation. Wispy, leesy, creamy on the palate, with white fruit, white flowers, a hint of tropical fruit and vanilla. Open for business and easy drinking. Starts to get a bit cloying by the end of the second glass, but a very interesting style and a good value at 10 €. — 3 years ago
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Pops Orchestra. Our Pops conductor Keith Lockhart is leading a live-to-picture performance of Star Wars: A New Hope, a showing of the classic 1977 film, with the Orchestra performing Mr. Williams’ iconic score.
For live-to-picture productions, the orchestra performs the entire movie score in real time as the film unspools. (Vocals, dialogue and effects are isolated from the original music track.)
Generally we get to here Star Wars scores a couple times per season here at Tanglewood, but tonight we get a chance to hear them with the backdrop of the movie (Episode IV) that launched a franchise, to say the least!
I celebrated another full trip around the sun, since my coming into this world, earlier this week. Tonight my wife, some dear friends and me will be enjoying some enticing wines along with our movie night. So notes...maybe, but I'll try! — 6 years ago
Only my 3rd st Veran ...citrusy more towards green, crisp but different — 7 years ago
Lemon, beautiful minerality on the nose, nice acid, medium finish — 7 years ago
Very good for a standard Bourgogne. Certainly close to Saint Veran and Pouiily Fuissé. White fruit all around plus full bodied. — 8 years ago
Un Saint Veran de grqnde classe, se rapproche plus d'un Ppuilly Fuissé. — 8 years ago

Sandwiched between Mâconnais and Beaujolais, St-Véran is truly making some lovely whites at exceptional QPR. Here’s a perfect example. (I matched the chard with a baked Alaskan salmon...baked fennel...and a side of harvest grains. I’m one lucky old fart.) — 5 years ago
same color as the Saint Veran from the same producer (pale yellow) but the resemblance stops there. The nose is citrusy, sulfure, green apple. In the mouth it's straight and with a nice attack that is maintained with a feeling of chalk in the mouth. Good lenght but not in relation to the delusional price. — 6 years ago
Well balanced. Not too sweet. Drink chilled before UT plays OU for best results. Go Horns, Hook ‘em 🤘. — 7 years ago
Serviceable Saint Veran. Nicely balanced. — 7 years ago
I fell in love with Saint-Veran when I was living in France and I learned it was very close to Pouilly-Fuisse, but less expensive. It has been a while since I’ve had one, but this bottle reminds me of why I like it. Citrusy with the slightest taste of a ripe pear, it goes down so easily. — 8 years ago
