Deliciously sparkly rosé, perfect summer wine, affordable too. Slightly sweet but not too much, fruity and floral — 9 years ago

Brought this home from my last trip to Sancerre. It was an amazing wine and perfect match for the local chèvre. — 11 years ago

Domaine Joliet Monopole Clos de la Perrière Fixin Premier Cru Chardonnay - Very pleasant surprise! Very developed for a 2009, but has a Dauvissat/Raveneau-ish style. Makes sense that this Cru was at one point considered for a Grand Cru classification. — 8 years ago
2009 Aberdeen tree collection - - good alcohol and - lower acid but lovely- barrel fermented in 500 l then straight to collection barrel. Warm vintage- very good structure — 9 years ago

Tight nose at the start. Cyndie says petroleum nose. I find it has opened up and I get the more unique burgundy flowers. But wish it had more structure underneath. A bit light there. But a fullness to the body sharia attractive. — 10 years ago
From burgundy, w/ Annie on a Wednesday. These burgundy wines are just the best. — 11 years ago

J'aime bien Harmand-Geoffroy. Un domaine sous le radar avec des prix très honnêtes. Ici on a une belle fraicheur, une pureté sur le fruit rouge. Assez dense en bouche. Le meilleur de la soirée! — 8 years ago
Mature Burg with orange - brown rim and lots of secondary aromas and flavors. Still some juicy fruit remaining! Definitely a sweetness and softness found in this wine. No more upside, so drink up! — 8 years ago
This is our classy mimosa wine. OJ plus this French stuff is on point. — 9 years ago
Full, herbal, ripe and oaky on the nose, obviously still young but more than ready to play. Odors of licorice and Fernet or Chartreuse come through. Thank goodness this has been open since yesterday, it almost certainly needed it. On the palate, bright cassis, wild strawberry and herbal liquor comes through with jasmine and finely structured tannins. Yumyumyum. — 9 years ago
I was expecting more grip and complexity. It drinks very nicely but it's a bit thin for a Gevrey. — 9 years ago
Floral, spice, ripe watermelon, strawberry, briney. M+ acid, long finish. This wine is alive and sparkly! — 10 years ago
