Ruby coloration. On the nose, currants, Dark berries. On the palate, currants, dark berry, cassis. Tannins are still strong after 15 years. — 4 years ago

Very young as of August 2018. Should be a whole lot more ready in a year. Best at cool room temperature as with reds. — 7 years ago
Velvety with a big mouthfeel, hunts of citrus, vanilla, honey, luscious — 7 years ago
Really nice nose and flavors. Smooth as silk. Very happy with this wine. — 3 years ago
Had this in a Sazerac; smooth, maple syrup on the nose, made the Sazerac smoother than the rye whiskey version. — 6 years ago
Love this producer. Not my favorite of his wines but that’s just personal taste. 12.5%. Still delicious. Very barnyardy — 6 years ago

Stunner for 2001! Elegant and effusive out of the gate with freshness abound. Hints of mushroomed austerity and salinity that is supremely lifting. Such a treat!! — 8 years ago
