Great wine from an up-and-coming winemaker. Got to give a shout out to my boy Daniel Benton, a hometown North Carolina boy! — 12 years ago

All Grenache. Very easy to drink, not very complex. Great alone. — 11 years ago
Leather, black cherry, licorice, and some cinnamon on the nose. Medium bodied. Rich impression of fruit on the palate—black cherry and licorice. Some chalky minerality. Nice balance of elements. This bottle has been open for two days now and the depth has, um, deepened...
A Languedoc GSM and pretty darn good! — 11 years ago

Can't find this wine in Moscow, hope to buy couple of bottles in St. Petersburg. — 13 years ago
I'm giving it a 9 because #Bobal is a difficult grape and this wine is elegant and well balanced. It's logical that others have said tannic because the grape itself is very thick skinned and tannic and this wine uses some #wholecluster and the combination produces a medium- chewy tannin to the finish of this wine. P F stands for Pie Franco which means original pre philoxera rootstock. Nice wine. For me it's more reminiscent of a Croze Hermitage than a Malbec. — 10 years ago
Exceptional clarity of color, a pale white. Explosive aromatics of juicy floral floral fruit. A touch one dimensional on the palette but the finish is electric acid wonderland. — 10 years ago

Wow.... Earthy yet light contrast after taste. Wonderful with light bouquet. — 12 years ago
Bottle age has added some Northern Rhône Funk...like a Croze or St Joseph. But still finishing with ripe fruit. Plum, rhubarb, wild game and wet cement fill the mid palette. — 12 years ago

Woah, weird. Smells of pepper and game, but then it's ultra slick and smooth. They de-Stem 100%, so the tannins are completely rounded out. Good intro Croze. — 10 years ago
