Deep and grapey. Smooth and dry. 20 bucks from Costco. A deal. Even better with air time — 9 years ago
My favorite producer who makes awesome wines from unsung vineyards in Burgundy. Perfumed nose roses/cranberry juice blend. Much heavier then the Nuits Saint George. Dark berries such as blackberries tannic now but will mellow out. A great wine buy it if you can find it! Online at Amitie wines. Premier Cru level! — 10 years ago
Tart cherry. Balanced acid. Quite nice. — 10 years ago
Rainy, cool night at the beach means satellite St-Emilion. Rich red fruit, spice, prominent tobacco --like a moist cigar. All that and it's just opened. Classic Right Bank Bordeaux--affordable, accessible and still interesting. — 11 years ago

U of M wine, pretty tasty — 8 years ago
Just wow. Such a modern style Bordeaux! Raspberry, licorice, very well integrated new oak aromas. Firm yet silky, with rich tannins. Hold for 5+ or drink now. — 9 years ago
Good rich flavor, not overpowering sweetness. Strong berry flavors, not alcoholy tasting at all. One of the better MN wines. — 9 years ago
A farewell dinner for a good friend returning to France with his family after establishing the most convivial auberge in town. Warmed up with a fun raspberry-charged Côtes de Blaye then delved into this Saint-Émilion grand cru. A right-bank Bordeaux blend of Merlot & Cabernet Franc that holds surprisingly luscious deep graphite alongside its dense dark fruit & hints of pralines and mahogany. Paired delightfully with duck confit, among other scrumptious plates. :) ...a great "until we meet again" dinner! — 10 years ago
Harika floral aromalar, ama ağır olmayan taze bir bitim. Barsac'ın güneyindeki, Saint-Croix-du-Mont'tan nefis bir liquereux! — 10 years ago
