Bouquet showing some tiredness, but otherwise wearing its age well. Lovely texture and a strong, but enigmatic finish that left the blind tasters perplexed. Congratulations to Gary for nailing the year, and his thinking Rioja was completely understandable. — 10 years ago

Brown ale from Voirons. Brilliant. — 11 years ago
Delicious Cote Rotie...very elegant, with red berries, spice and an underlying gaminess that leads to a long and racy finish... — 12 years ago
Solid brown. Great with pancakes, hot dogs or by itself. We are a few packs deep — 10 years ago

A structured Belgium brune abbaye beer! Caramel, malts, coffee with a hits of chocolate cup cake on nose. Caramel and malts on palate with a medium sweet malts and hops finishing. Very smooth bubbles with a well balanced structure. — 10 years ago
Smelled a touch more acetic than the palate. Lots of Belgian candy sugar getting in the way of natural funk. But it helps balance the sriracha pork belly skewers... — 10 years ago
Really good French white! 👍 — 11 years ago

Jamet, 88 was funny, funky and soft, 89 Brune killed it, great structure and depth, 90 Brune was mind blowing, great fruit and meat, ripe and so easy to drink, 91 Brune was stemy and a little green and astringent, 1995 en Magnum from the estate was youthful and still a little closed and hard, 1996 was tasty and open, 1996 Brune had more structure and dark fruit and flesh, 1999 showed well, but not as amazing as I would have thought, still one of the best on the table — 12 years ago

Antoine Cauchard
Bière brune à mousse abondante qui titre à 9 donc elle tabasse un peu. Son goût boisé et fumé très prononcé en fait une bière très surprenante et plutôt très bonne — 9 years ago
