Cant pronounce it, but I can drink it... And it's a very nice Chenin Blanc. Drank the 2014 vintage at Wild Ginger (Richmond, Va). It went well with our tuna rolls. — 9 years ago

Very smooth. Goes well with chicken, cheese or anything subtle (as opposed to lamb). Nothing exceptional but a good quality/price. Cant go wrong — 10 years ago

Cant even explain how delicious this is 👌🏼🍷 — 9 years ago
I normally am partial to left bank but was heavily discounted at TW, so I gave it whirl given the vintage. Smokey and earthy stewed red fruit on the nose. Nice palate with delicate fruit and chocolate flavors. Starts with chewy tannin in the mouth but that quickly fades into nice flavors with a shorter finish. On the whole, this is exciting in a way I cant exactly pinpoint, while being a well balanced and enjoyable wine. Nice #QPR. — 9 years ago
Cant say enough here to describe whats in this bottle to me. Its like the crispest cleanest most perfectly just ripe red apple flavor I've experienced. Ripe fleshy apple skin to be exact. Enormous acid, loads of sticky bread like lees and toasty pie edges. Limestone finish that lingers with leesy lime candy. The length and power in every sip is beyond impressive. This really makes me wonder what Ive had that I enjoyed more. — 9 years ago

A French Pinot : Noir Les Hexagonales 2013 is on the bar tonight. The color is dark for a pinot. The bouquet has a raspberry jam essence. The initial palate after aerating it in my mouth is very nice unlike that of a cab. There is a hint of chocolate spice and sour apple. The finish is long with a tart tongue tingling surprise of buttery vanilla. Cant wait for another sip. Actually, the glass doesn't seem to want to leave my hand! — 9 years ago
Cant go wrong pairing this Sonoma Chardonnay with some roasted chicken, Brussels sprouts with bacon, and sweet potatoes. Keep it up Kent! — 9 years ago
This wine is absolutely amazing. Its a blend of 4 types of wine pinot gris, pinot blanc, muscat and viognier. It has notes of apple, peach, orange and tropical friut. Its major notes are apple and orange. Its very refreshing and crisp. I was sad when the bottle was finished. I cant wait to get another bottle. — 9 years ago
I love California Cabs obviously, and this is no exception. This family owned winery is an example of how hard work, dedication, patience, and determination can result in a strong family business and an amazing product. Since 1979, not a long time ago, Turnbull estates has been growing their own grapes and producing wine from them. They are definitely on their way to being a world leader in the wine business.
This is a 2012 cabernet sauvignon from Oakville California. The cork had a small amount of uneven absorption. The color opaque and 14.5% alcohol, its no surprise. The legs are long and thick at 10 seconds. I do recommend decanting for 20 minutes. The bouquet is slightly strong with hints of lavender and pepper. The initial palate Stimulation is that of spice, black pepper, and blueberries. The finish tingles the sides of the tongue with a slightly acidic hint of barely ripe bananas and it leaves your mouth very dry. Better have a good bottle of water with this one. The finish has a hint of sourness, but I cant wait for the next sip. — 9 years ago
