Nose: complex. Beautifully herbal.
Palate: great herbs. Perfect genetic bonding with dense red cherry fruit. — 9 months ago
Columbia County 2.0: interesting drinking this day after a German Pinot, as I found them surprisingly related. A fave Beaujo producer’s Morgon, also a cooler tone & elegant. Blackberries & cassis, darker berries and a fine grittiness to integrated tannins. I like this drinking window (6 yrs) but imagine several if not more left. — 2 years ago
Citrus and strawberry accents, light, refreshing, very nice when paired with creamy and buttery cheese and fruit. — 9 months ago

A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 5 years ago
2010 vintage is perfect now. Still some dark red fruit wet stone minerality with a long finish — 5 months ago
On the tail end of its prime window, but still hitting. Like a mealy yellow apple, not quite browned. Has cider notes but plenty of acid in the mouth for vibrancy. Laser lemon cleaner with toasted oak becomes candied kumquat and sweet clementine.
Theres a lot of beautiful weight and texture and raw power that comes out to play as you let it warm. — 8 months ago
Skof. Well paired with duck. — 10 months ago
Interesting. Some age on it now and a lovely amber color. Rich and oxidative. Not where my tastes have evolved but really quite good. — 3 years ago
First on the nose was ripe stone fruits, peach especially. On palate, some minerality comes through and the mouthfeel from time on lees is delicious and creamy. Very long and pleasant finish. — 4 years ago
