This btl was comped by the restaurant after I made 3 attempts to order a white Burg off of their list that was not available. Crazy for Spagos! I have never gone 0 for 3 prior to this but the same thing happened the next day at Mott 32. Another 1st for me where 2 restaurants in the same city did not have the 3 btls I selected off their list. — 4 years ago

Extracted but still show a lot of fruit, flowers before the buttery finish. — 7 years ago
Zingy and very balanced. Herbs and flowers. A red through and through. — 8 years ago
Started the evening at Emeril's in NOLA. More minerality than expected, but well-balanced. — 9 years ago
Lovely aromas. Big time Pommard stones and minerals. Gorgeous blackberry and black cherry fruit. Really vivid and detailed. So pretty. Palate is ripe, lush and elegant with terrific balance. A bit clipped on the finish which will surely gain with air. Lovely persistence of black cherry with elegant and dusty tannins. Terrific concentration and a classic very old school profile. Needs time but very good today but will be much better in 5 years.
After 6-7 hours open this has changed. 9.3 to 9.4. So elegant and pure now. Really deep. So refined. — 3 years ago
I found this rather simple and refreshing, which was in no way a bad thing. Exactly what we wanted for dinner. Lovely juicy just ripe cherry fruit, some lovely earthy notes and charming perfume. Its lightness and tangy acidity paired with finely knit yet caressing tannin made for easy and thoroughly thirst quenching bottle. Pour la table! — 4 years ago

Smokey, toasted oak on the nose, with a higher acid. Pairs with truffles cheeses or mushroom forward sauces/dishes — 6 years ago
Love this wine. — 7 years ago
I hate Chardonnay but nothing beats an old world Chardonnay from'91 — 8 years ago
This is my first Burgundy (so that skews the rating) but it's omg delicious. Nose is all candied cherries and spice. Tastes goes from fruit, to pepper, to a soft gamey flavor. Delicate and watery on finish. Hubby who likes intense, dark wine and beer says, " I like it because it has flavors." — 9 years ago
Very yummy! Just drank this on its own. Nice and fruity. — 11 years ago
Stunning richness. Slightly premoxed. Good acidity. — 3 years ago
Tastes like a combo of cab and pinot: good. Perfume nose. — 3 years ago

Very special wine. Lime curd, minerals, acid.. not a wine to take for granted. Sip slow and savor — 7 years ago
Pear, green apple and lemon curd fruit notes with just a bit of almond paste and minerals. Juicy and bright with more pear and citrus flavors. It is little phenolic on the finish and missing a bit of density and length on the finish. — 7 years ago
Nice ruby color with a nose of bright cherry. On the pallet is a tart cherry with ripe tannins. Medium acidity and a finish of ripe plum. — 8 years ago
2013 Clavoillons. Mineral, lemon and peach. Some nice length on finish. Good acidity. Could be interesting in 5 years. — 9 years ago
Very acceptable — 10 years ago

Dynamite- toasty, tropical nose but laser focused palate- unreality and acidity carry the palate. — 3 years ago
