2019 vintage paired super well with Jacques Pepin’s poached hake recipe (Cape Cod, 2022 with Helen & Tree). It came on strong with a flash of strawberry gummies then opened up and mellowed as the meal went on. Fruity, full bodied, quite dry but not overly so.
