Austere with lots of greenery. Food friendly but not hedonist. $13.99

Low-end Bordeaux: pleasant with food but nothing that really does the region justice. Mostly plums, blackberries, and cherries upfront with bell pepper and forest floor. Shows a nice soft texture but needs more acidity and less heat at the end.
