On the decline but has held up well. Still showing tart red fruit in the sour cherry and dried strawberry spectrum. Lots of sour acidic quality. A vinegar note that would be very food friendly. Still, a tasty, complex wine. — 8 years ago

GL Bertagna tasting 10/17/17. Youngest vines though already 20 years. Dustiness on nose adding to the ref fruits and complex balanced palate and energy on body and long finish. Yum. Comp with 2011. Nose had bit of woodiness riding on the red fruit and similar to 15 but more acidic palette and biting finish. Would say 0.1 point less. — 7 years ago

Rich dark black cherry that is smooth, soft and very round with just touch of juicy acidity mid palate. Subtle but mouthfilling, probably was more showy young but very enjoyable now. — 7 years ago
