Dry, pear, lemon, a hint of butter and oak, mineral...an excellent white burg — 9 years ago
Chalky and mineral infused. Nicely restrained fruit. Too young, but shows promise. — 9 years ago

Might be my last of these. Excellent as ever — 11 years ago
Getting to its prime, but still deeply saturated and concentrated, mineral-forward with graphite, tar, lit tobacco, blackberry compote, violet, black pepper, earth, bacon fat, licorice, and light barnyard. Mouth-filling, with a finish that sticks like a cigar. Paired unironically and exuberantly with a peppery, fatty smoked brisket sandwich which tasted much like this wine minus the fruit. 375 mL — 7 years ago
White 2009 — 9 years ago
Tongue copulation in fresh cut grass under a new moon on top of ancient Roman ruins that themselves were built upon a forgotten Neolithic paradise. Pollenate and impart your wildness. — 9 years ago
This is a very complex Champagne with earthy, nutty flavors and a hint of stone fruit. I'm looking forward to enjoying another evening trying to parse out its rich flavors. — 9 years ago
What a surprise after the '88 VV! — 10 years ago
Kenta Hayashi
Regal on the nose, grand cru depth and complexity, mixture of berries and cherries. Concentrated blueberry tea. Seductive on the nose and palate. Darker than the RSV, which is typical for Richebourg. For 2010, prefer the RSV. — 7 years ago
