02’ - not a huge aromatic nose but pristine presentation of grapefruit zest, white flowers, chalk, and a hint of smoke and spice. The palette feels a bit tired, the acid is medium, though the finish sticks around for a decent time. This seems past its prime, sadly. A lot of bottle variation in these right now I believe. — 8 years ago

Exceptional. Again proving Dom rose is one of the absolute best in the world. — 11 years ago
Tasty and affordable in the new Mencía style. Dark berry and vanilla on the nose, blackberry jam through and through on the palate. Finishes like satin. Great value to pair with red meat off the grill or hearty game. — 13 years ago
A little richer than the dom with a bit more toasty oak on the nose and a bit more fruit showing — 7 years ago

Tried this vs Dom '04. I like this, but I would rather drink the Dom '04. However, both are good! — 11 years ago
Trying to drink from different regions and try grapes I have not tried. This was fantastic — 12 years ago

Ripe velvety plum and blackberry fruit dominate an intense and slightly chalky palate. Chocolate and dusty peppery flavors add complexity.. — 9 years ago
1996. Boom. Amazing. Full on. A wine. Way heavier than the Dom 1996. — 11 years ago
