For me this is one of those wines you don’t want to love. You want to look at the price on the list, chuckle and move on to a diamond in the rough. Found a few of these for a great price however and wow was this bottle gone in a hurry. Quite enjoyable, especially on a Tuesday welcoming kids home from school for break. Cheers! — 7 years ago
Had to get it again to share. So good for how inexpensive it is — 8 years ago
Chewy, jammy, spicy goodness - and discounted down to $5 makes it even better! — 9 years ago
Bière IPA assez forte à 8.3. Des notes épicées et un goût assez intéressant — 9 years ago
Just great juice.
After a good decant the Old Poodle Dog Cab (from Coho wines- a serious favorite) opens to a plush & sweet little beauty. A bright nose of cherries and some lavish oak roll onto the palate with an open and lively character. All-in, the Old Poodle Dog is a friendly, juicy Napa Cab that can be (thoroughly) enjoyed this very moment with a little bit of a decant and a juicy cheeseburger. — 10 years ago

Cigars and ripe red cherries on the nose. Red apples from the Wizard of Oz trees and smoked bing cherry on the palate. Click your heels, Toto. We’re not in Kansas anymore. Grab your broomstick and take flight with this delightful berry manifestation. Or take shelter. This berry hurricane is headed straight for your mouth. — 7 years ago
Dark cherries, leather, cocoa on the palate. — 7 years ago
Wow...this 98 really held up beautifully given how much unfiltered fruit I was led to believe that it would be gone. But creamy zesty and lots of nuanced lemony and tropical scents. Guess this bottle worth of the hype and $$$! — 9 years ago
Well done Michael. A fairly priced, beauty. I should have ordered more! — 10 years ago
Sweet black cherry, good acid. Adult Dr. Brown's Soda. — 10 years ago
Restores my faith in Beaucastel. not the barnyard funk usually there but delicious, balanced, dark stewed fruit, a bit of earth and woods. Already sad it will be gone soon.... — 10 years ago
2017 on 9/25/19. — 6 years ago
Blind tasting night - Considered Bordeaux Varietals due to the Pyrazines, and I should have gone old world due to the tart fruit on the pallet.. however it was ripe, and I went Margaret River, Australia.. should have went with my gut. But, it was midnight so I'll blame it on fatigue, ha. 🙃
Great wine from a great vintage - fun fact: this estate is the only other estate to be edited into the 1855 Classification a year later, as a 5th growth, literally hand written into the list. — 7 years ago
Dark fruit and fine tannins. Great with ribs, but could have gone another 10+ years easily. — 8 years ago
Stewed blueberries and funk. It's a dog drink dog world out there. — 9 years ago
Absolutely love this blend, the bit of Port makes it uniquely sweet. Fantastic. Blend #6 — 10 years ago
More sour than other domestic Goses, but refreshing with a nice yeastiness to it. The omission or minimal use of coriander was a welcome surprise. — 10 years ago
Very good moscato for the price! — 10 years ago
