DM would like, acidic — 9 years ago
I read this has taken a big step up this vintage so picked up a case from DM at 13.60/bottle. Amazing buying. Clean fresh black/red fruit with a savoury and subtle sourness to it. Fine but firm tannins and long finish. Didn't get it to a second night but suspect would have been even better. — 9 years ago

Elegant. Well done raytek! Wild rose. Rocks from a glacial stream. Soft cherry-overripe strawberry. Lavender-violets-fuck awesome florals. 45+ sec finish and acid that makes me smarter 😜 (for you DM). #whydidntibuytwo?!?!! — 10 years ago

I picked this up at Costco, and after tasting it my only mistake was not getting a few bottles. I will head back and see if I can buy some more it starts off with a very nice nose. It has a very nice smooth finish which is only outshined by the hints of cherry that starts off this wine. I also love the name remind me of someone I knew. Thinking of you DM. — 9 years ago

I ❤️ Diamond Mountain! The tourists have no clue, and you sort of need to base camp in Calistoga and then venture out. Call in advance to schedule tastings, this isn’t tourist trap wine Disneyland. It’s a wonderland if you love Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This wine is typical of the awesomeness of DM - sort of a Platonic Ideal of Cabernet. — 7 years ago
