1997 Gaja Sperss Nebbiolo. Second of two reds at Il Piccolino lunch w K and group pre-Mattel party. Brighter and more fruit than the 1982 Gaja Barbaresco. Very pleasant to drink. Nuanced, not too fruity; balanced with earthy mineral notes. — 10 years ago

Really loved this Grappa. Gaia signed it for me at a Mozza wine dinner in 2010. — 12 years ago

Grappa from The Hermit! Been waiting years to buy or taste. Exceptional. Usually don't love Barrique aged grappa but it was delicately integrated. — 10 years ago
